Andy graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2002. Andy played four years of NCAA Division I football at Davidson.

Andy earned a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law (now the Joseph F. Rice School of Law) in 2005.

Since beginning his legal career in Charleston in 2005, Andy Countryman has evolved from a dedicated attorney at large firms to the proud founder of Countryman Law Firm. His extensive tenure at a major Charleston firm saw him defending a diverse clientele, from healthcare professionals to architects, often focusing on saving costs for insurance companies. In 2017, Andy shifted his focus towards directly aiding those wronged by these very entities, leveraging his insider knowledge to better advocate for his clients in complex litigation scenarios.
